About | Quiet Chairs. Sharp Lines. Steady Resolve. | The Roosevelt
About the shop

Quiet barbershop. Steady room.

The Roosevelt is a small, appointment-based barbershop for men who carry real responsibility. The room stays calm so the work can stay sharp.

Room Deep olive walls, warm light, dark wood and brass. No screens on the walls, no clutter competing with the chair.
Rhythm We run on time with enough space in each slot to do the cut properly — not a rushed assembly line.
Noise Low music and normal conversation. Nothing you have to talk over if you’d rather sit quiet.

More like a small study than a storefront — composed, intentional, and put together.

Origin

A Bulwark Barber Co. concept.

The Roosevelt sits under the Bulwark Barber Co. banner — same ownership, same standard — shaped for men who prefer a slower room and work that holds up off-camera.

It isn’t built to be a scene. It’s built to be a reliable stop in your week: walk in, sit once, get sharpened, then head back to what you’re responsible for.

Craft over volume Fewer chairs, fewer slots, more attention on the cut in front of us.
Calm over noise Low music, steady voices, no shouting over TVs or hype.
Consistency over novelty Timeless shapes first, trends layered in so the cut still reads clean weeks later.
Barbers

The men behind the chairs.

Jonah Lang
Co-owner · Barbering since 2019

Jonah focuses on clean, balanced work — tight fades, controlled scissor cuts, and shapes that grow out well. In 2025 he and his wife purchased Bulwark Barber and have been building a steady, high-standard shop ever since.

Nick De Santis
Co-owner · Barber & builder

Nick leans into sharp fades, classic cuts, and straight-razor details. He treats the chair as quiet service — a place to reset, talk if you want, or sit in silence before stepping back into what you carry at home and at work.

When you’re ready for a shop that takes your time and appearance seriously, we’ll be here.
